As global demand for high-quality content continues to grow across streaming, broadcast, and theatrical platforms, legacy IP is emerging as one of the most valuable yet underutilized assets in the media industry. However, much of this content remains in SD or HD formats, limiting its potential for modern distribution and premium viewing environments.

A work becomes IP only after it has taken root in people’s minds — by nature, IP exists in the past. This is why legacy IP holds enduring value and unique relevance in today’s media landscape. The challenge, however, lies in how to effectively bring these assets into the present without compromising their original artistic intent.

This session explores how AI Super-Scaler enables content owners to transform archival material into theatrical-grade 4K while preserving the integrity of the original work. Rather than focusing solely on technical theory, this session highlights real-world applications across a wide range of content types, spanning TV series, film, animation, and concert films.

We present selected projects involving globally recognized Korean IP, including concert films featuring BTS released across 2,000+ theaters in over 65 countries, as well as restoration work related to films by Academy Award-winning director Bong Joon-ho. In addition, we will share how the solution is currently being applied to animation libraries and ongoing collaborations with partners in the Japanese market.

The session also addressed practical considerations such as source condition variability, quality thresholds for commercial release, and strategies for prioritizing titles with the highest long-term value. Gain insight into how legacy content can be effectively revitalized and repositioned for global distribution in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Broadcast audio is rapidly evolving from fixed, hardware-heavy infrastructures to flexible, IP- and cloud-enabled workflows. Today’s engineers are expected to cover more content, respond faster, and deliver greater precision — often with fewer resources, less space, and tighter budgets.

This session explores how networked audio, cloud-based management, digitally steerable coverage, and integrated DSP are being deployed across live entertainment, award shows, talk formats, and unscripted programming. By shifting key control, monitoring, and configuration tasks into the cloud, production teams can simplify system management while improving visibility and consistency across venues and shows.

In recent live broadcasts and capture sessions, digital microphone arrays formed the foundation of the audience capture strategy, delivering increased spatial detail while significantly reducing the total number of deployed microphones, cabling, and rack hardware. These same approaches translate directly to panel discussions and reality formats, where speed, flexibility, and repeatability are critical.

Gain practical insight from real-world productions into how IP- and cloud-enabled solutions reduce on-site equipment requirements, save rack space, lower transportation and logistics costs, and streamline system deployment and management — from initial setup through final delivery.

As content volume, speed, and personalization demands increase, organizations are reengineering their production pipelines to remove friction and redundancy. This panel focuses on how cloud-based production pipelines are being designed to streamline every stage of the process — from ingest and collaboration to versioning, approvals, and delivery.

We examine how modern workflows using shared cloud infrastructure, virtual studios, and intelligent asset management enable distributed teams to work in parallel rather than in sequence. By replacing CapEx-heavy systems with flexible, scalable pipelines, brands are reducing bottlenecks, improving visibility across production, and maintaining security and control while producing more content, faster.

Cloud hyperscalers are buying servers faster than manufacturers can build them, and media organisations are caught in the crossfire. Whether it’s NVMe arrays, high-speed networking equipment, or standard compute for render and transcoding, procurement timelines that used to be weeks are now months — and getting worse.

This session cuts through the noise with actionable strategies: how converged infrastructure designs can halve your physical server count without sacrificing performance, how intelligent data orchestration creates a seamless bridge to cloud capacity for burst requirements, and how AI-powered content discovery reduces the storage sprawl that drives hardware demand in the first place. Walk away with a framework for building resilient media infrastructure when the supply chain won’t cooperate.

Public Cloud provides computing resources on demand, billed by the minute. Historically, television users would keep everything running all the time, just in case, and also to retain operational assurance that all the program chains are up and ready. To get cost-effective use of on-demand resources, you need to be able to turn them on and off easily, and be sure they will be configured correctly each time they come up. Orchestration tools are the key to this repeatable use of the cloud.

In this presentation, we talk about Orchestration and give examples for channel playout — a common use case of both on-prem and cloud-based deployment — where the workload varies at different times of the day.
