This session explores the evolution of live video from an early technical novelty to a mission-critical enterprise communication channel. While consumer streaming has normalized 1080p experiences, video behind the firewall is still often constrained by proxies, security controls, and bandwidth limits, especially in branch and regional sites.

Using real-world data from large enterprise town halls, Nick Morolda explains why organizations cap quality to protect network stability, how “network math” degrades what employees actually see, and what it takes to deliver higher quality without increasing risk.

Learn practical approaches for achieving broadcast-quality, reliably stable enterprise streaming through smarter delivery, deeper visibility, and proactive event assurance.

As content volume, speed, and personalization demands increase, organizations are reengineering their production pipelines to remove friction and redundancy. This panel focuses on how cloud-based production pipelines are being designed to streamline every stage of the process — from ingest and collaboration to versioning, approvals, and delivery.

We examine how modern workflows using shared cloud infrastructure, virtual studios, and intelligent asset management enable distributed teams to work in parallel rather than in sequence. By replacing CapEx-heavy systems with flexible, scalable pipelines, brands are reducing bottlenecks, improving visibility across production, and maintaining security and control while producing more content, faster.

Cloud hyperscalers are buying servers faster than manufacturers can build them, and media organisations are caught in the crossfire. Whether it’s NVMe arrays, high-speed networking equipment, or standard compute for render and transcoding, procurement timelines that used to be weeks are now months — and getting worse.

This session cuts through the noise with actionable strategies: how converged infrastructure designs can halve your physical server count without sacrificing performance, how intelligent data orchestration creates a seamless bridge to cloud capacity for burst requirements, and how AI-powered content discovery reduces the storage sprawl that drives hardware demand in the first place. Walk away with a framework for building resilient media infrastructure when the supply chain won’t cooperate.

Large broadcasters are rethinking how broadcast operations are designed and operated at scale. As station footprints grow and operational complexity increases, traditional station-by-station operating models struggle to deliver the cost control, reliability, and agility required in today’s environment.

This session explores a centralized Broadcast Core operating model that combines shared, centrally managed capabilities with lightweight Edge functions close to affiliates. The approach focuses on pooling common capabilities — such as orchestration, encoding, packaging, stitching, and lite playout — while enabling remote operation and on-demand activation only when required.

Rather than focusing on technology refresh cycles, the discussion centers on operational design: how to create a single, consistent operational framework across a distributed broadcast footprint. Attendees will learn how centralized visibility, standardized workflows, and reduced manual intervention can improve reliability, accelerate the rollout of new services, and enable better cost-station control.

The session also addresses how broadcasters typically begin this journey. Instead of large-scale redesigns, many organizations start by improving operational visibility and standardizing incident and operational workflows, then expanding the centralized model incrementally over time.

Designed for broadcasters and affiliates, this session provides a practical perspective on how centralized broadcast operations can scale sustainably while preserving local flexibility and control.

Atheer Sabti, Enterprise Solutions Architect, HCLTech
Jonas Ribeiro, Head of Infrastructure and Telecom Products, Globo TV Brazil

Every major studio sits on millions of digital assets with massive, untapped value. Currently, artists spend hours acting as “digital archaeologists” — searching files instead of creating them. This session tells the story of how Amdocs embedded a team inside DreamWorks Animation’s production pipeline for 18 months, conducting deep research with 10+ departments to build an on-prem solution to solve these creative friction points.

We demonstrate how that artist-led empathy led to the blueprint for a new service, an AI-native architecture designed to transform the content supply chain. While the research was rooted in the day-to-day operations of production, the future of this platform is being architected as a cloud-native, tech-agnostic ecosystem. Developing in partnership with AWS, this vision ensures that intelligence is never locked into a single provider, offering studios the flexibility to integrate with their existing tech stacks while scaling infinitely.

Discover how we are building an automated metadata pipeline that leverages AI to eliminate manual tagging and make every asset discoverable by both humans and machines. By moving toward a cloud-native future on AWS, your studio can build a rich corpus of metadata — ensuring your artists spend less time searching and more time creating.
