For years, the media industry has been forced to rely on “text-first” AI. Models that require manual tags or fragmented plugins just to assume what is happening in a video. Reka is here to define the next era of media operations. We have built a natively multimodal-first architecture that sees, hears, and reasons across video, image, and text, simultaneously in a single, unified model. This is more than a faster search tool; it is a “World Model” that understands the physical context, emotional subtext, and complex dynamics of your content exactly as a human producer would.

Your archive is a goldmine, only if you can find what’s in it. Reka Vision is the intelligence layer designed to eliminate the traditional metadata bottle deck. It is able to process up to one hour of video in a single prompt. Broadcasters can now use natural language to find precise, unscripted moments like “find a specific product logo visible during a crowd celebration” across decades of untagged footage in seconds, transforming a storage cost into a searchable asset.

At Reka, we believe that deep understanding is half the battle; the real value lies in what you can generate from that intelligence. We empower media teams to go beyond discovery and move directly into creation:

Contextual Monetization: Identify optimal “pause moments” and narrative-aware breaks for premium, non-intrusive ad placements that respect the viewer experience.
Generative Highlighting: Stop spending hours in the edit suite. Reka identifies viral potential and automatically generates social-ready reels, teaser clips, and frame-accurate metadata in real-time.
Automated Brand Safety: Instantly detect competitor logos and compliance risks across your entire library, protecting advertiser relationships before a single frame airs.

Learn how we take footage, and transform it into a revenue-generating engine — generating tags, ad slots, and highlights in a matter of seconds. It is time to move past basic tagging and enter the multimodal frontier.

Speakers:

Meenal Nalwaya, Head of Product, Reka AI
Josemaria Soriano, Growth Product Lead, Reka

Live events today produce more content than ever — but the real bottleneck is turning that content into something instantly usable, sharable, and on-brand. Whether you’re running a customer summit, a multi-track sales kickoff, or a product launch, the gap between capture and content delivery can kill momentum.

This session introduces “Edit on the Spot”, a real-time, agentic AI-powered platform designed to make corporate event video editing as fast and scalable as the events themselves. You’ll see how AI agents can ingest live multi-room feeds, segment key moments, brand the content, and deliver platform-ready clips in minutes — not days.

Built for AV teams, media operations, and SaaS marketers, this talk will walk through how to scale video workflows with AI, reduce turnaround from hours to real time, and get content from stage to socials before your keynote speaker even sits down.

Speaker: Martin Renaud, Co-Founder / Chief Product Officer, Edit on the Spot

This session explores the evolution of live video from an early technical novelty to a mission-critical enterprise communication channel. While consumer streaming has normalized 1080p experiences, video behind the firewall is still often constrained by proxies, security controls, and bandwidth limits, especially in branch and regional sites.

Using real-world data from large enterprise town halls, Nick Morolda explains why organizations cap quality to protect network stability, how “network math” degrades what employees actually see, and what it takes to deliver higher quality without increasing risk.

Learn practical approaches for achieving broadcast-quality, reliably stable enterprise streaming through smarter delivery, deeper visibility, and proactive event assurance.

Global distribution demands precise compliance across diverse regulatory and cultural frameworks — a challenge that does not scale with manual review. In this technical session, Viren Mehta, CTO of Spherex, breaks down how multimodal AI systems can analyze video, audio, and dialogue to generate structured compliance intelligence at scale.

The session will cover:

Designing multimodal pipelines for frame-level and scene-level analysis
Training and validating models for sensitive content detection
Generating territory-specific metadata and age-rating support
Integrating AI outputs into studio and OTT distribution workflows via APIs

You will walk away with a practical understanding of how AI architectures can reduce manual review, standardize compliance workflows, and accelerate global content readiness without sacrificing accuracy or nuance.

Live video powers the highest-stakes moments on the internet, including sports, breaking news, live commerce, and interactive entertainment. These moments demand now, yet we run them on an internet built for eventually.
Our current infrastructure was designed for downloads and feeds. It is a world where packets are delivered… eventually. Live experiences, however, require packets predictably. If your business depends on real-time engagement, your competitor is not another platform. It is latency and variance. They cause buffering, out-of-sync chat, sudden quality drops, and streams that fail when millions show up at once.

In this next era of streaming, latency is the new bandwidth. This talk outlines a clear blueprint for a live-first internet. We will highlight where the seconds hide, what is fundamentally broken in the current stack, and what must be rebuilt so that live can finally mean real time.

Streaming platforms have invested heavily in DRM, watermarking, and backend controls to protect premium content. Yet piracy and revenue abuse continue to scale, often without attackers ever touching the stream itself. Instead, they target the mobile app.

We examine how modern piracy increasingly originates from compromised mobile streaming apps, including repackaged binaries, modified playback logic, credential harvesting, and direct API abuse. Using real-world examples from streaming and pay-TV environments, we’ll show how attackers bypass traditional defenses by manipulating the client-side app — creating blind spots that DRM and server-side controls alone can’t address.

Learn how leading media providers are closing this gap by protecting app integrity, detecting runtime abuse, and validating trust before content is delivered, stopping piracy earlier in the attack chain without degrading viewer experience.

AI has moved beyond experimentation in the media industry and is now being operationalized to solve real production, monetization, and audience engagement challenges.

In this focused Tech Chat, we examine how studios, broadcasters, OTT platforms, and digital media companies are putting AI into production across their media operations. The session highlights practical applications of AI-native architectures that modernize cloud production and media supply chains — driving workflow efficiency, intelligent automation, and scalability across the content lifecycle. We explore how media organizations are activating privacy-safe, first-party audience data to generate actionable insights, enable personalization, and support evolving regulatory and platform requirements. The discussion also covers outcome-based advertising models, where AI connects content, audiences, and commerce to deliver measurable performance and revenue impact.

The session concludes with examples of how real-time AI and analytics are being used today to deliver personalized, low-latency experiences across OTT, broadcast, publishing, creator platforms, and gaming – helping media companies improve engagement, differentiation, and speed to market.

This Tech Chat is designed for media and technology leaders seeking practical guidance on where AI is delivering value now, what capabilities matter most, and how to move from pilots to scalable execution.
